Cal 34--Basic Mazecraft

Basic Mazecraft is a 1976 Cal 34 Mark III. She has had only 3 careful owners and has been extensively updated and upgraded. She has an ultra suede interior, radar, gps with serial port to the nav table, autopilot, canvas covers on all brightwork, Maxprop, roller furling, and has been well maintained. There are original manuals for the boat and motor and for all of the many upgraded components.

About Me

My photo
Ted Johnson
BJ & TJ--BJ Hawk and Ted Johnson--now living in Lake Worth FL; were off to see the world, alternating between road & sea. By road, we travel in a classic 1976 Newell Coach adopted in Houston where Ted found it languishing in a storage lot. After coaxing it to Denver with the help of bros & son, it again languished in a storage lot until pressed into service as our home. Since then it has journeyed to Fort Collins, Minnesota, Indiana, Georgia, Florida, back to Minnesota, and back through the Indiana, Georgia, Florida series once again.

Basic Mazecraft?

Funny name for a boat! According to the previous owner, who is English, basic mazecraft is a surefire method for escaping from the monster hedge mazes in England. If you keep one hand on a wall without crossing any doorways, you'll eventually get out.
